J&L Pest Solutions is a husband and wife-run business based in the New England, North West Slopes area of NSW.

We provide vertebrate pest control services to rural, non-rural and industrial areas all over our region.

J&L Pest Solutions can offer you a pest control program using shooting, trapping, solar panel bird-proofing and deterrents.

Insurance and Risk

The risks associated with allowing potentially unlicensed, uninsured or poorly disciplined shooters onto your property can be disastrous with financial and legal consequences to your property/stock or person.

Jay and Lara have combined over 40 years of experience handling firearms in different disciplines. We are a registered business with Public Liability Insurance.

When using our services you can claim back the associated costs as a business-related expense.

Licencing

As professional contract shooters, we are licenced and insured to control feral animals on rural and non-rural land and are holders NSW firearms licenses.

Proof of certificate of currency and licences are available on request.

Shooting

We use specialised equipment that is highly adaptable, allowing us to adjust settings to minimize any over-penetration issues, it is extremely quiet reducing any disturbance to the other targeted animals, surrounding homes and businesses.

Shooting offers a quick solution to other long-term and expensive programs such as baiting which can also affect non-targeted species and netting which can cost in excess of $60.00 a square meter

Birds such as feral pigeons may carry bacteria and diseases that can be transmitted to humans and animals.

Foxes

Foxes threaten our diversity and target defenceless animals. Any animal up to 5.5 kilos can be targeted, like lambs, kid goats and poultry, they are currently responsible for the decline in many, bird, mammal and reptile species across Australia.

Feral Pigs

Feral pigs also target newborn lambs and goats as well as a range of native animals including birds, turtle frogs and lizards they are responsible for crop and fence destruction, damaging watering holes and can carry the following diseases.

Removing the targeted animal has an instant effect improving the cleanliness and reducing the health risk to your staff and customers.
